Scab up nostril?

So..

My right nostril.. from just under it to all the way inside was VERY sore.. It now looks like a mucussy scab has formed but is spreading? It is still sore.. I havn't been sniffing drugs or anything..


Any ideas?

I get this all the time. It gets so big u want to pick it so u can breath right and stop it annoying you...after repeating the process about 3 times it usually just disappears for me.

But no, what buddy above me said would work, but between scab-pickings and even right now, apply some vaseline. with a q-tip, not a toothpick.

Don't pick the scabs, in fact no one should pick their nose at all, ever. Fingernails carry a lot of bacteria, and if you even slightly rupture the delicate nasal lining, the moist damp conditions of the nose are perfect for an infection to thrive in. Apply an antiseptic ointment via q-tip until the infection clears, but resist the urge to pick!
